On April 30th, the City of Minneapolis and the Metro Clean Energy Resource Team will host a free workshop for up to 2 participants from each Minneapolis neighborhood to learn about community solar gardens. Field Regina Northrop is looking for two volunteers to attend this meeting as neighborhood representatives and to share what you learn with the neighborhood. This workshop will provide learning opportunities for participants at all levels of understanding and will include the following topics:
- Basic information on Xcel Energy’s solar garden program
- Roles that neighborhoods can play
- How to make smart decisions that reflect each neighborhood’s goals and priorities.

Each neighborhood is allowed to register up to two participants. Space is limited to 80 attendees and registration will happen on a first-come, first-served basis.
