  • Plant Swap

    Join the first-ever neighborhood Plant Swap! Drop in to bring extra plants that need a new home, adopt new plants and meet and talk with other plant people. This is a free event and everyone is welcome.

  • Join the Board

    FRNNG has a few openings on the board: please consider donating your time and talents to our community! Serving on the board is a fun, flexible volunteer opportunity. You’ll spend 4-6 hours per month, attend meetings on the third Wednesday of the month, and work to steer and plan events and programs.

  • Duck Race Thank You

    Thank you for a wonderful 4th Annual Minnehaha Creek Duck Race! Huge thanks to our volunteers and coordinator, sponsors, participating organizations, food vendors and Mayor Frey, who kicked off today’s race! Special thanks to V. Paul for this photo!

  • 3rd Precinct Community Safety Center Meetings

    Join a community engagement meeting about the South Minneapolis Community Safety Center at 2633 Minnehaha (which encompasses the former 3rd Precinct). There will be a virtual session on May 22 and FRNNG will also host its own community session on June 19 at our monthly board meeting for FRN neighbors.

  • Greening Committee

    Get involved with neighborhood sustainability, conservation of green spaces and environmental justice at the next meeting on Thurs., June 6 at 6:30 p.m. All are welcome!

    Eligible local businesses, commercial property owners and non-profits can apply for up to $5,000 in matching grant funds through FRNNG and the City of Minneapolis. Learn more below.

  • Next FRNNG Board Meeting

    The Board will meet on Wed., May 15 at 6:30 pm in the Gym at McRae Rec Center for the Annual Meeting & Board Election. The public is welcome and encouraged to join the meeting, ask questions, bring ideas and get involved with the neighborhood.
