CenterPoint Energy - Columbus Ave & Town Oaks (In Progress)
Project 1: Contractor Michels Corporation will replace the gas main under the east sidewalk of Columbus Ave from 43rd to 50th and move residential gas meters outside.
Project 2: Contractor Michels Corporation will replace the gas main at Town Oaks Townhomes and move gas meters outside.
42nd St from Stevens to 17th Safety Improvements (Planning)
City staff attend the April 17 FRNNG Meeting to share about pedestrian and bike safety improvements along this High Injury corridor.
Will focus on intersections of 42nd at Stevens, 3rd, 4th, 10th, 15th and Bloomington.
50th St from Lyndale to 4th (Coming Soon)
Street resurfacing (2024) and adding new ADA Pedestrian Ramps (2023).
CenterPoint contractor Michels Corporation replaced the gas main and moved meters outside in 2023.

Cedar/Nokomis/Edgewater Traffic Calming (In Progress)

Parents in Community Action Head Start at 4225 3rd Avenue South (In Progress)
New construction for new classrooms, offices, training rooms, an elevator for ADA access and enclosure of the center courtyard to create a two story activity area.
Sewer Lining Project on E 49th St and Park Ave (DONE!)
A City contractor relined the sewer using a Cured-in-place-pipe (CIPP) lining, which is a trenchless rehabilitation method so the contractor will access the sewer through manholes in the street and not have to break ground to complete this repair.
42nd & Cedar Intersection Restriping (DONE!)
Restriping of the intersection to restore some of the lost parking spaces while preserving the new bike and pedestrian improvements.
12th Ave/14th Ave & Minnehaha Pkwy Pedestrian Restriping (DONE, thanks to Council Member Koski!)
