Join us to remove invasive buckthorn along Minnehaha Creek! The wooded area between 12th Ave and Bloomington Ave along the creek is struggling from an overgrowth of common buckthorn that crowds out native plants and trees and is detrimental to wildlife. 

Volunteers meet at the 14th Ave bridge over the creek. We use the high cut method and provide all the training and tools you need, so no power tools or chemicals are involved. This is a great volunteer opportunity for beginners, teens, etc. Huge thanks to FRNNG Board Member, Colleen Stockmann, for leading this project!
